A poem about old friends drifting apart.

Visits lose frequency

Phone calls dwindle

Letters pile up forgotten

Until to late to send

E-mails shrink

The less about you they know,

The less you have to share

Realizing the details are insignificant

That they would no longer care

So on target, as strong as friendships are presently, they are also convenient, and once they move, the emails, calls, leters will dwindle just as you stated.
    Great poem
