A poem about a scared cat.

Image via Wikipedia

I heard a strange and scary noise,

coming from inside the closet.

I opened the door to peek inside,

discovered my solid black cat.

His soft fur was wet and matted,

he was shivering in fright.

I offered him a kitty treat,

but he cowered further away.

Suddenly he let out a piercing wail,

just as I gently patted his head.

I lifted him up off the floor,

carried him into my bedroom.

That night he slept on my bed,

snuggled deep beneath the covers.

My Oisin always opened cubboards. He was very curious.

That is scary when a cat is scared.

Great poem! I think I would have been scared at first knowing that something was in my closet only to find out that it was a cat. You had a cat out of nowhere experience. LOL!
