I was thinking of Cin Cin. She was a very interesting kitten that we had when I was a teen. I’ve included a picture of her.

Frisky Black Kitten

Flip flop zoom
Around the corner and slide
Jump up on the piano
Clink clink clink

Hide on the stairs
Reach out pat them on the head
Scamper away
Amused by their gasps

Find the car keys
Hide them behind the piano
Twitching the tip
Of that thick fluffy tail

Purring purring loudly
Stretching out
Enjoying tummy rub
Then quick grab, bite and lick

Come running from
Any hiding place
When someone uses
The electric can opener

Then off
To catch the water
As it swirls
Down the toilet

Does this frisky
Long hair snub nose
Insane black kitten
Ever sleep?

Sounds just like a kitten…Reminscing of Cin Cin and she looks more like a cat rather than a kitten in that picture. cute picture and nice poem, it’s very fitting

JUST LOVE BLACK CATS! Owned a few myself. One was called Silky and one was called Odo. And I love to cuddle one on any Friday 13th when I can. Great work!
