A new study says that comes from frog skin that turns out to be a cure. Really?
The scientists are joined in a study from China showed that the skin of these amphibians can be found antibiotics.
Some types of frogs smell, or known ‘odorous frog’ that smells like rotten fish, have skin that produces antibacterial substances that have the potential to fight the bacteria-antibiotic resistance.
According to researcher Yun Zhang and colleagues from the Kunming Institute of Zoology, frog species live in warm and humid environment, which also become breeding grounds for bacteria, so they have the ability to protect itself from bacterial infection.
Before announcing the results of this study, researchers have observed nine species of frogs smell and found that frogs can produce more than 700 chemicals known to specific antimicrobial peptides (AMPS), which works with not only kill bacteria, but also enhance the immune system frog’s body.
