A poem relating flowers to relationships.
Hearts go out to the sarcastic daises
My hand will crush with sheer delight.
Inhaling the intoxication of roses
“I hate the flower, wish it was gone.”
Plucking out my petals, one by one
Breaking apart my stem in fluid time
The poppy so luscious and sweet
Unaware of bitter taste of defeat.
