A poem about feeling the presence of another…if only in your heart!

I felt you at dawn today,
In my morning coffee,
All part of the routine.

I felt you this afternoon,
In my daily manner,
As the sun cast its sheen.

I felt you at intervals,
In all that I did,
For all that you are.

I felt you at my dusk,
In the cooling air,
Wishing upon that star.

I feel you now,
As I lie here dreaming,
Memories fighting to play.

I’ll feel you for years to come,
In the depths of my rewards,
Dawn to dusk, day to day…
