The wonder of the world through a seven year’s view of his front porch.

From his front porch his eyes take in all that the world beholds,

Dreams of adventures he will one day endure races through his brain.

Wonders what treasures wait for him to discover as he grows up,

From his front porch he tries to understand all the anger and the hate that swirls around.

Closed mindded people who can only see life from thier point of view,

Destroying the beauty of life to prove what they say is true,

Only to live with the bitterness that seems to coarse through their veins,

Is what troubles his heart when he looks out from his front porch.

He tries tomake sense of it all,

He tries to understand the meaning of life and the point of it all the best way a sevenn year old can,

From the safety of his front porch looking out at the land.

this actually seems pretty close to the vision of 7 year old you expressed this one really well . Your prose is a treat to read …
