Haiku poem.

Cool foggy morning

A chilly breeze is blowing

Dewdrops on the grass

Sunny afternoon

Soothing rays of the bright sun

Shining from above

Calm peaceful evening

Sitting outside on my porch

Lazily swinging

A clear starry night

Silvery full moon is glowing

A beautiful sight

Quiet peaceful evening

I count 6 syllables here – 7 if you are one of those people who say “ev-en-ing”

Lovely mood to this poem. As with Ashan 1614’s comment, watch words like ‘ev-en-ing’ and ’sil-ve-ry’ if you’re serious about haiku though. Having said that, I have no passion for haiku, but I do have passion for your poetry. This was lovely all on it’s own. Haiku or not.
