My poetry.

Oh what tantalizing beauty lies
in such remote and distant skies!
What I’d give to reach out my hand
and softly stroke that ephemeral band
of lightest blue and purest gold
that every man must crave to hold.

Yet so far off it seems to me-
for the sky must stay forever free
from those as weak and mortal as I;
for if the sky touched me, it would surely die.
