Hats off for the 33 Chilean Miners.

33 brave Chilean miners

Chilled by the fear of death

As they wake up to the reality of their plight

But they would neither rest in peace

Nor accept to die away from their loved ones

_

33 awesome Chilean miners

Struggling to acclimatize in the underworld

700 meters below the earth for

70 days without the proper use of their eyes

But they would neither give up nor

Accept to die away from their countrymen

_

33 unrelenting Chileans

Holding onto life like their legendary ancestors

Did thousands of years ago

And one by one they were pulled to the surface

To a thunderous welcome by the Chilean nation

Which transformed them from

Poor and ordinary miners to Global celebs

Long Live O ye Miners

Long Live Chile

I would have gone crazy underground for so long… I hear there was a guitar player down there who entertained them.
