There was once two great friends,

And they treat each other as sisters.

Different in looks but synonymous in traits,

All the time their friendship stays.

But one of them had a great problem;

And it’s all because of her fault.

She always got no high grade, so her mother had decided,

To move away from their home.

She told her best friend about it

And she end up with tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Don’t go away, don’t go away,

I want you here with me.”

But she doesn’t know what to do,

So she just told her to–

“Take care of yourself, always be happy,

Because I will really miss you.

“I promise I’ll never forget you,

I promise that I’ll always care

I’ll remember all the times we have

And I’ll come back for you I swear.”

When she left, her best friend became stronger

She knew that the promise will soon be fulfilled.

She waited for her but something happened;

Something she doesn’t ever wanna hear.

A news said that a ship was wrecked

Because of the terrible weather.

Her best friend is one of the passengers,

But unfortunately didn’t take it over.

She wants to be alone,

For she doesn’t want anyone but her friend

And so she gave up hoping,

That the promise will be kept.

One night while she was sleeping,

She dreamt of her best friend.

Her friend said, “Don’t worry, I’ll always be here,

And I will keep my promise for you my dear.

“I’m always thinking and missing you,

I will always guide you even if I’m gone

Enjoy your life and be stronger

And let our friendship last forever.”

Then as she woke up in the middle of the night,

She felt the cold air hugging her tight.

“Thank you my friend for letting our friendship to stay,

For keeping your promise and guiding me on my way.”
