Full moon in the evening sky

The face of God I see

A look of peace and worship

The place for us to be

His glory shining all around

Strength flowing through ocean waves

He lights his darkness with beauty

As brilliant as his days

Stars twinkle with adoration

Suspended by God’s great hand

To give us just a glimpse

Of his glorious promised land

Full moon in the evening sky

One day you’ll be no more

His cosmic creations will pass

Though in Heaven we’ll be with the Lord
