A poem by Josh Miller about the future and how I was already aware of what was to come.

Future by Josh Miller

From as young as five years old I was told what the future could hold,

but never did I figure that it could have a bigger

impact on me now that I’m 16 years old,

I know now that when my mother advises me I should let my ear’s unfold.

I used to be in the future,

but now I’m in the past,

by the time you’ve read this in the present,

this accounts for every letter before the last.
