Poem about George Washington.
Although only six years old, young George was showing signs
Of presidential qualities, long before his time
His handling of a crisis was plain for all to see
When questioned by his father about his cherry tree
After a while he pointed to his axe on the floor
Saying “Father, I cannot lie…it was that bloody kid next door!”
