The sky is filled with excitement
Pausing for a celestial enlightenment
A delightful scenery
Basking in the beauty of heaven’s mystery
Flashing lights and flares
A spectacular movement in the air

It’s an amazing object that grabs our attention
It seems to exist in another dimension
Spewing out streak of lights per hour
Is known as the Draconid meteor shower

Get ready to welcome it and celebrate
It’s here again on October 7 and 8
It’s a phenomenal time
It’s out of sight
You don’t want to miss
This flash of bliss
It can only be seen at night

Hey Melinda thanks for this, I love to watch these and I really hope I can see it. I checked out the link and it says ‘Since the new moon will fall on October 7, we’re guaranteed of dark nights for observing these meteors’.

Also I live in the suburbs and really don’t have an issue with light pollution.
