feeling so empty and desolate

just sitting mind left me behind

all the thoughts coursing through my brain

the right path will i ever find?

writing my heart out on this paper

 hoping it will lead me somewhere

falling here trying to hold on

and not fall into a pit of despair

wish i could think it through

fix everything that I’ve done

but i can’t

and it haunts me like a loaded gun

so many things i feel

so many things i just want to say

but i cant

and it devours me everyday

just want to get through

want to make things right

so take my hand

and together our demons we can fight
