This is about a boy who saw a girl in the rain and fell in love.

Girl, I met in the Rain

Soaked wet and cold

I was waiting from my friend to come

Then I saw her, Love at first sight

She looked like a damsel in white

Water droplets dripping off her hair

She twirled around just in time

I saw her eyes, shallow and hidden pain

She looked at the deep blue sky

And smiled again

Like, the rain took away her pain

In few moments

Time and again

My eyes wanted to see her

My eyes searched for her again and again

I found her nowhere

Ignored and rejected I felt at that moment

I turned around to find her

I knew I was falling in love with her

“I was waiting from my friend to come ” This line seems a bit awkward to me.

Oh Sourav, Its obvious It is by mistake I typed “from” in place of “for”. You couldn’t identify.I don’t think there is anything awkward. Mistakes do happen with everyone at times when unreviewed not due to ignorance.

You didn’t ask me about your friend

    She was with me

She told me at times ‘Shwetha miss me’

Now I am sending her to you

    Nice is your poem Shwetha

And its title is very new

    God bless you
