Poem for a friend.
You have blond hair,
You mask seriousness with a goofy stare.
The inspiration for tonight,
Your hazel eyes seem to collect all of the light.
You smile and laugh
I bet you’re the best of Taco Bell’s staff.
This poem is sort of a joke,
I hope you don’t roll over and croak.
You’re texts make me laugh and grin,
I wish I knew where you had been
When my life came crashing down
And all I could do was frown.
This silly poem is close to it’s end
I’m glad our friendship is real, not pretend.
