This is about dishonest female friends, who you thought you could trust.l.

Why do woman always act that way.

Saying your my friend.

But not realizing that, those words are important in the end.

Not just you and me holding hand as though we were in 1st grade.

Friendship is bonding, trusting, not deceit and being betrayed.

You say I love you, but I am sorry I slept with you man.

This is not what a true friend would do.

Baby girl don’t you understand.

Girl I am really sorry, let me call you right back.

Then I don’t hear from you for two months,

this one-sided relationship seems a little bit off track.

A good girlfriend is hard to find, I learned that long ago.

So I insist, do a background check before your both on a TV show.

She should be the type of woman you are not afraid to leave alone with your man.

So if you have some preconceived notion that this might be part of her plan.

You better lay down your rules in advance, to keep you own butt from drowning in quick-sand.

So true – I only have a couple of women I know I can really trust and depend on. The others are jealous and just waiting for me to take a fall.

All the more reason to nurture the true relationships you find. Continue to be a good friend yourself, and you will find them.

So true, the last line especially is well written.

I like your poem…for me, I consider people that I meet into 3 categories, acquaintences, friends, and family. You don’t have to be blood to be family, but family will always be there for you.

I’m blessed to say I have a circle of true friends, more like sisters. I’ve learned how to be a friend so I attract other females who value the same thing. When I meet new acquaintances I am careful not to ignore the red flags in the very beginning. We have different friends for different reasons. Just knowing which category to place them and how to deal with certain ones has made my social life a lot less stressful.
