Sunset on the riverfront.

sunset.


pinks,

purples,

reds,

colors woven in between the clouds.


reflections on the water.


the waves carry them to shore and out again.

hundreds of suns bounce across their peaks.

black holes swallow them up,

and spit them out.


slowly.


everything fades away.

and i’ll wait patiently,

for the black hole to open wide,

and give me back my sunshine.
