Look inside, your mind

Search among the shadows

Where the real you, I’ll find

Untie the bonds that hold you

Set your spirit free

This stranger, that still loves you

Again, it’s me you’ll see

You were my rock, my inspiration

For me, you did it all

Always there, to hold me

Should I ever fall

But I wish you could remember

The good times we once had

Put that sparkle in your eyes

Which now, seem so sad

For nothing, can replace

What once I shared with you

So now I stand alone

And wonder what to do

Among those veils of reason

Somewhere deep inside

I wish that I could reach in

And give you back, your mind
