Giving to Take

We can’t always be takers. We must give too. Our inner self will feel better, and more alive, if and when we give to others.

if you want
to take something
then you need
to give something

but don’t send away
anything you should keep

and, most of all, don’t waste
my precious time

because my time
is sparse
and I can’t afford
to just give it away

so if you want
to take something
from anyone
then you must be willing
to give something in return
