A cool gentle rain is falling
The sky’s filled with clouds overhead
This would surely be a perfect day
To just lounge around even stay in bed.

Right now I’m sitting out in the garage
I hear crows, gentle rain and a breeze in the trees
We actually really need this rain
To bring Spring buds and flowers even also the bees!

In a few minutes or so I’ll go inside
Where two skylights light the room
Where the sound of the rain hitting on the glass
Will be quiet but also a very wonderful tune.

Where I’ll sit down in front of my computer
Write some words also getting work done
All will be quiet except for the sound of the rain
A nice atmosphere – worry level at none.

So now I’m inside
The ‘kids’ are sleeping soundly around
It’s just as I said it would be
Sometimes life, does SO astound.
