Hemorrhagic stroke involves bleeding within the brain (intracerebral hemorrhage) and bleeding in between the inner and outer layers of tissue that protects the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage).
There are two main types of stroke is bleeding (intracerebral hemorrhage and (subarachnoid hemorrhage. Other disorders, including intracranial hemorrhage, including epidural and subdural hematomas, which is usually caused by head injury. This interference causes different symptoms and are not considered as a stroke.

When the blood vessels in the brain is weak, abnormal, or under undue pressure, stroke bleeding can occur. At the stroke that bleeds, bleeding may occur in the brain, as an intracerebral hemorrhage. Or bleeding can occur between the inner and middle layers of tissue that protects the brain (the subarachnoid space), as subarachnoid hemorrhage.
