Christmas Poem.

The glory of the Lord came downThe day the Savior was bornThe immaculate firth in a barnA blessing in His child so pure.Salvation of the Lord at handThe day the blessed child was born. Sent down to save wretched manFrom the death sentence of sin.  As the scriptures of old foretoldWas this precious Son of God.Man expecting that of grandeurOnly God’s intent was menial stature. Yes, born the King of royaltyTook His human place in humilityCame down with the Father’s blessings,One day to rise to His place of royalty. Yes, One day to come back againTo take the faithful home. There we’ll live throughout eternityWith the blessed heavenly Trinity.
