Ups and downs, trials and tribulations

You’ve been through it all

Everytime you feel that things are looking up

You fall

Remember in the words of Donnie McClurkin, “A saint is just a sinner who fell down and got up”

I’ve been there right with you, lost my car, my job, the father of my children, my home

But God stepped in and picked me up EVERYTIME

His grace and mercy were like a beautiful rhyme

That flowed in and out of my soul

And pulled me out of my hole

You are a go getter and can do anything you put your mind to

Sometimes you have to encourage yourself and tell yourself what YOU can do

God gives each of us visions that he wants to manifest

It is up to us to have the courage to put them to the test

Have the strength to walk away from these men who claim they love us

And their actions show us everything but such

We hold on to the men who abuse us emotionally, physically, and mentally

Don’t appreciate us as Women of God and love us spiritually

You, WE deserve better than what we give ourselves credit for

Stand up, Lift your head up, Open your hearts, Aim for more

Give all of you to everything you work for, Wipe your tears

Smile, Walk proudly, Strut your heels, Ease your fears

YOU are going to be AMAZING, your children are going to be leaders

Set the example and show them how to be WEEDERS

Weeders, you ask me what could that be?  J

Someone hired to remove weeds or a tool for removing weeds

Your weeds could include negative people, negative comments, liars

Abusers, Drugs, Alcohol, Haters, and People who want to bring you down and not higher

And if you feel you are not strong enough to be a weeder,

Find a friend or family member to help you weed out those weeds

You are a star, a child and woman of God, go get whats yours!
