My Grandad passed away yesterday… he’s now free again. x.

Sometimes when its sunny outside

It still rains inside

But at least your at peace now.

You can ride your old bike

With nana in side car.

You had a good life

were an example to a lot

So clever and noble

I

 know you’re still around

your spirit is still alive

I know i’ll see you soon

please come and visit us.

Enjoy smoking your pipe again

your tobacco

your whiskey

and your scones.

Thanks for everything

see you one day.

love you always

Grandad. x x

It is always difficult to lose a loved one, but I love the way that you have turned it around and are able to see the celebration of a life well lived.

It sounds like he was a man you were proud to know. I agree with Bojack. If freely given and received love can be a joy.

Your title is very catchy, great subject matter for a poem.
