Poetry as expressive therapy.

Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden

Had control of all things except one thing.

A forbidden fruit, held as an extremity by God.

It was not to be touched because of the power it withheld.

All extremities of our universe are black.

The deepest depth of the ocean, to the highest heights of space,

The richest soil that produces our food,

To the crude oil that generates our machinery,

Are all black in their extremities.

I believe God firmest hands at work, is when its black.

We are all allowed as humans to draw from His source.

But are limited by one extremity, donot touch it all.

I believe this extremity in its purest form is black.

If we deplete it, as in the Garden of Eden with the forbidden fruit,

It will consume us all.
