Oh God’ where are you when I need you? I pray to  and don’t know anymore what it is I am prayin’ for. Do I pray for wealth, happiness, or food? Do I pray for others or you? I pray for me and its not much that I ask, but a little bit of peace and pain a little less.

Oh God’ is it you I seek? Or do I look for love that keeps me in defeat? With such words I am brought to my knees, with such fear I have become so weak. Beaten and abused, your love never failed, to bring my heart beneath the scales. A weight of such that no other sees, my heart is down far beneath the seas.

Oh God’ where have you gone? For you have hidden from me with no clues, no map, no home. I search and search and find you no more, for he beats me with his words, and leaves me with his scorn. Take me with you, where ever you have gone. For life for me is no more.

Oh God’ Oh God’ I make my request, let me live forever in your nest. The gates of heaven of gold and great, what I desire beaneath this hell and heat. Cool me off and let me live, Oh God’ please take me before I burn to a crisp.
