To my Triond friends…. it’s been a while. I am currently home recovering from my second bout with pulmonary embolism. I’m aware how serious this condition can be – I could have easily died either time. Apparently, there is still more for me to do here and God has granted me grace to live out my days and fulfill my purpose.

What is it that protects me

From the enemy’s attack

What strengthens and sustains me

Providing what I lack

Keeps my faith from wavering

That I might win my race

A gift that’s freely given;

It’s God amazing grace

When temptations and life’s troubles

Rise and try to trip me up

Cause me to get off the narrow path

My progress, to disrupt

I know that my own strength

Is not enough for me to stand

I need God to uphold me

With His powerful right hand

So when you see me smiling

And I seem so full of joy

It’s not that the enemy has not tried

To steal, kill and destroy

But there’s a hedge around me

And a Savior to plead my case

The only reason I’m still pressing on

Is God’s amazing grace

God’s grace is truly sufficient to keep. In Him there’s life, hope, peace, joy and the assurance that we would make it; if only we continue on with Him… be blessed my sister, by His stripes you are made whole.
