Why do good people suffer? Why do children die before they have a chance to live? I don’t know. Sometimes we simply cannot understand tha ways of God. We must trust that God knows best. All things work together for good to those who love God.
The lessons are hard
God wants us to learn.
Sometimes we don’t understand
Nor comprehend His perfect plan.
God’s ways are higher than our ways.
God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
We cannot fathom His reason
But We must trust That He knows best.
But God gives the grace
For each trial we face.
His comfort is there to console.
His power is ready to help us cope
For all things are in His control.
God’s promise is clear.
Though the trial be great.
The trial isn’t more than we’ll bare.
Just keep your eyes on the Lord.
Trust Him. He’ll always be there.
Each step of the way, God leads us
Though sometimes the trail be hard.
Each step we take, He’s there by our side.
He’s there to protect and to guide.
Now we don’t see the whole picture
For we look through a glass that is dark.
Then we will know the whole story
And then we will understand why.
