Scripture Influence: Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy name, Most high. To show forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.

Psalm 92: 1-2

God’s Word we emulate and we truly try to live by.
His commands appear easy while still causing us to sigh.
Adherence to God’s Word causes our hearts to skip a beat.
Wanting to change a word is tempting and quite a feat.

God’s Word teaches us to be grateful in all occasions.
Not giving this a second thought for any dissuasion.
Hardship leaves believers with reason for acquiescence.
Our Comforter provides His love and God’s essence.

Our gratitude is appropriate when this pain we want to share.
This turmoil we experience is soothed with the incoming air.
We have the Holy Spirit working in this and all dire situations.
The Comforter helps believers — this calls for a celebration.

Thanksgiving during turmoil does not take place without reason.
It is gratitude hinged upon prayer as we are always in His season.
Someone who doesn’t pray will feel like life is coming to naught.
Praying replaces chaos with peace doesn’t ponder another thought.

The Lord commands us to exercise gratitude for our Spirit to be lifted.
We are strengthened and encouraged as we have been truly gifted.
Let’s watch God intervene as He hears our pleading voice.
Our desire is for God as He is our One and Only Choice.
