Had this dream that I just had to write about.

Gold Fire

5 August 2011

Why don’t the walls
Stay where they belong?
Why aren’t the stairs
Behind me anymore?

Something is wrong
In this old place
I walk the halls
Expecting anything

Then a door opens
I see her laying there
So human like
But I know she isn’t

I can’t help but want her
I cannot think of anything else
She turns and looks into my eyes
I am attuned only to you

I did not understand
This mermaid enticed me
Was I hers
Or was she mine

Green eyes and blondish mix hair
There is a spell in the air
Something else wants her
How do I protect my swimmer

Joining her is a fire
Her body holds me deep
She can take more than
I knew I could give

Her soul is golden
Treasure unlike any other
I find within her
A deep bright gold fire
.

That is quite a dream, Milton. It provided you with a lovely poem.
