Blow through this Life, scatter the pieces of her heart.

Blow through this life
scatter the pieces of her heart
Leaves tumbling,
scattering around her feet
Flying upon the wind
gusting into her eyes
Hiting her with
a biting cold, so like yourself
Tears pouring out of her soul
Blow through her life
Quickly!!!
Leave no remnants of yourself
She survived you ;
your cold nature included
Numbed and cynical at the rest of creation
She’s turning a leaf over
Starting anew
No longer controlled by you
She’s weathered
But she’ll recover

I LOVE this. And it’s so good to see something from you again! Gone with the Wind is one of my absolute TOP favorite movies. Scarlet is a woman who is beautiful, innocent, strong, and can get through anything in life stronger, wiser and better than EVER before – and it sounds like you know you can and ARE also!!

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,

    -Liane Schmidt.

A good poem, Kathy. Like Liane, I like movie Gone with the Wind and the heroine Scarlett. Recover is always the thing we need.
