A poetess of some megalomaniac ego.

Good bye Cinderella

For  me you were just

Another lovely Cinderella

You are good

You are beautiful

You keep no promises

I’m sure not doubtful

That time will come

You shall again return

To be just in time

You will leave

Not your sandal this time

But your mind behind

Goodbye Cinderella

I shall still welcome you

In to my fold

Having by you undergone

Pangs of pain untold

Good bye Cinderella

This third time again

When you do make amend

Hope not uselessly by then.

This is very good. Lovely Honey. I remember Cinderella when I was a kid. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Awe… how reflective your poem was, I like the extenuation that you took with the Cinderella of our past, the part referring to her not leaving her sandal but her mind. Interesting the thought patterns your lovely poem inspired. “Keep up the good work”. :)
