A farewell to September.

The last days of September are upon us now
The webs weigh heavy with the autumn’s dew
And I think of summers gone and winter to come
And I think of love and I think of you
A tear grows in the corner of my world
As I slowly allow my arms to unfurl
I stand, arms outstretched and scream out loud
Don’t leave September don’t chill my cloud
Winter cold beckons with a frosty finger
Please stay September, please stay and linger… Johnnydod
