Summary of my thoughts on the emotional Gordon Brown interview with Piers Morgan on 06/02/10 in poetic form.

YouTube via Google News – we watch Brown’s swallowing chins uncover, the unexpected admiration, of an unexpected lover.

Each a source of technological attention, now shining tenderness at one another through polished teeth.

Far from rolling cameras though, in gold rimmed hotels stocked with little bottles labeled GIN. They mash their mass of fleshy tongues, trade hot breath and tremble as the suited bodies touch and comfortably undress each other – there no one will unearth their cover.

But here and now, under light and film and all those eyes, these brothers are affected by a different heat

they fidget their hips around in their seat and try to keep eyes off the crotch. The broadcast begins and Brown says he’s always loved the Beatles, while Morgan grins (because he knows Brown’s a man of the Stones). So Morgan thinks: “oh what a devil, how does he lie and keep his smile so level – all of this English has got me so ticklish and heating my erogenous zones.”

Then the interview wanders: a scripted reality – called News – a spin doctors’ public hallucination

when mingled with thought, reaction, adjustment, what spews out is maliced molasses – elected officials’ music.
And neither can wait for the show to end to bring them together at night, when unbridled passion and such fervent magic

will harbor them out of the light.
