Gossip is never a good thing.
The beauty shop is a place where the flock likes to gather
Their feathers all ruffled they cackle, cackle, cackle
The spread of innuendos knows no bounds
Interpretations filled with misleads
“Girl, did you know,” brings ears aglow
Birds of feather react, “No, she didn’t.”
Week after week each one speaks.
Adding information to silent situations
CNN couldn’t keep up with them.
When one stands and says good bye
Another sits antsy at the chance to chat about the bird that flew the coop
Such a sordid affair causing much confusion
She said she said gossip will always flourish,
Because sometimes birds prey.
