Gotta be Me

A poem I wrote a while ago and recently found, which inspired me to embark on the journey to change my life.

I need to be better,
faster, stronger

I need to be
At the top of my game
Always

I need to be the best,
My best

I need to keep going
Swiftly, always
Never quitting,
Always following through

I need to be this
and that
and what other people think I should be

Wait!

I can’t do that
I got to be me

Surely my best,
but not the best ever

Just because I am not number one,
Does not mean I am not good enough

I just got to be me

All things start with self! And I totally believe with true conviction–all the have to do must be done–other than not being yourself! The other are important to spirit, fitness, and health–without either–existence is meaningless–do you know what I mean! Really good writing! Most Improved!

The answer always seems to come from within. It\’s the first step to bring out the best of you. There\’s no rush. I hope you find what you are looking for, take it and love it for all it\’s worth. Great poem.

I think you are doing really well to be your best. Make sure that whatever you do you are doing it for yourself. That way you are more likely to succeed.
