Poem:

Roots of a government should be sunk

Deep in the soils of fairness,

Freedom and justice that should bring

Succulent fruits of awareness.

Within the grasp of people at large

Should be left the power to make

Success possible in every field,

With decisions none can shake. 

Paths of injustice are open for crossing

Through dark avenues of temptation,

Even when bells of achievement ring

Heralding some celebration.

Failures do merit consideration,

Intent being honest and straight,

Like a bird trying to get on the wing,

Maimed, but can hardly wait.

When values are rightly figured and set –

Values people esteem,

There should, indeed be songs to sing

Of reality, instead of a dream.
