Governments of Greece

Each city-state had a king,

with each civilian under its wing.

As people grew tiered and the king grew greedy.

A new form of tyranny was soon to be seeding.

From the ashes of betrayal a new form of government that has not yet failed.

Democracy was formed in this land of Greece,

and this quite nation was finally at peace.
