What is a day in your life worth? Is Jesus part, none or all of it?
Your heart beats, your brain functions.
Your eyes slowly or quickly opens.
You see the glorious sunlight through your window.
You hear the chirping sounds of birds or maybe just the noise of traffic.
You lounge there able to move from side to side.
Remembering it wasn’t always this way.
Six months prior you were in a hospital in a coma.
Paralyzed from the neck down.
An unfortunate car accident where no one had on their seat belt.
Two killed and your life spared for a reason. Don’t you think?
And now soon you will stand on the two legs and two feet that God blessed you with.
You will go in and bathe yourself in the waters He has provided.
You will clothe yourself by the means He provided you with.
You will move to the kitchen and smell the aroma of food and Thank God for the sense of smell.
Soon you will taste the wonderful food the Lord has blessed you with.
Thank God for His extended Grace and Mercy.
You head for the garage and pray that your car starts after the eventful day yesterday.
Yes it starts and you put your seat belt on and proceed to work and arrive safely.
All the time remembering the accident but now the memories are less intense.
You have a successful day of record sales and the phone rings after you clock out.
You debate should I or shouldn’t I answer it thinking about rush hour traffic but you pick up.
It’s your supervisor on the other line and he’s on his way to your office.
Congratulations he says. You have been promoted and a dinner will be held for you next week.
Thank God for His Grace, Mercy and Favor.
