A disheveled man by the name Grandpa Woodstock came to our small town.

There was a man, somewhat discheveled, who came to my home town.

He rode a moped, with all his belongings in tow.
On his journey through the country, he had a small problem, his moped would not go.
He was stuck in our home town, bike was unfixable.
A man, not quite normal, almost scary, was stuck in my hometown.
He washed his clothing in the creek, hung them to dry on the guardrails.
In a small town, this seemed so strange.
The police even tried to chase him away
No harm had he caused, no reason for the rush.
He stayed around long enough to get generous dontaions so he could be on his way.
Finally got a ticket out of town, never to be seen again.
In memory of Grandpa Woodstock in his Wyalusing, PA visit.

He truely was a nice man. We stopped a few times just to give him company during his stay. He was treated with respect, and fed well. But boy were we all glad to see him off to his destination. If you would like to learn more about Grandpa Woodstock, you can search him online.

Hey chicka! I remember seeing Grandpa woodstock in our hometown, and you are so very right. He was a scary looking fellow, but there were many people that felt sorry for him and helped him out so that he could be on his way to whereever his destination led him. It was the very first time I had ever seen such a person come to our town looking so disheveled and poor, but I am sure he is making the most out of his life for the time that he has left on this earth. Great pic and great story!!!
