Annuler granuloma is a chronic skin disease characterized by small, rubbery lump (nodule), which forms the center of the ring with normal or slightly concave.
Annuler granulomas most often affects children and young adults.
CAUSE
The cause is unknown.
In a small group of patients, a set of granuloma annuler nodules arise if the skin is exposed to sunlight.
SYMPTOMS
Nodules on annuler granulomas appear colored or yellowish color of the surrounding skin; can be found one or several rings.
Usually does not cause pain or itching.
Most commonly found in the feet, legs, hands or fingers.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis based on symptoms and physical examination.
To confirm the diagnosis can be done a biopsy examination.
TREATMENT
Granulomas usually disappears by itself without the need to be given special treatment.
To accelerate the loss of nodules, can be given in the form of creams or corticosteroid is injected directly into the nodule.
