Pt four.

he is not crazy.he is not insane
looking out onto the vast expanse of land behind his home.
he sees only dark.
and remembers
that at one time.
he thought he could infuse light,
into that dark expanse.
but no.
like a slow,molten eruption.
dark leaked throughout the property.
and the tables have turned.
his eyes tell stories.
he is a haunted man.
she knows this.
he recalls his last visit to her.
as his eager hips ground against her unwilling ones.
her small soft cries of indignation.
pleading him to stop.
he wasnt ready to.
his fingers dug into her thighs, pulling her against him.
her skin so grimy and soft against his clothes.
small traces of her perfume wafted from her hair..
the weeks in this basement hadnt faded it.
a small smile of satisfaction spread across his lips.
and in the silence
where only her small kitten like pleas could be heard.
a new sound came.
the melody
her singing.
slowly.
it started at a tiny whisper
and became a hushed tone.
he froze.
she snatched at this moment
and began to raise her voice.
he fled the room.
and his smile,was waning.
