This is a poem I wrote about a man in love with a woman.
You know I think you’re beautiful
And I just wanna be truthful
I have a need to grab you
And tightly I’ll hold you
I’ll never let go
Right now I’m again feeling low
And you must know
My thoughts of you running around my head
Motivates me into a better man in which to grow
Truth be known
I let it all out
At the top of my voice I wish to shout
That no one moves my groove like you
That no one smoothes my soul; fills that hole
No one lifts this blue
And parts my mood
Better than you
Just gather and grasp
If anyone asks
All along, it’s always been you
I feel I’ve connected with you down deep
You’ve managed to creep and seep into my pours
I wanna take that leap and tell you I want more
But I’m scared of heights
And the sight of you tonight
Has me staring at the inside of twin headlights
And I just might take the bullet and bite
Show you what it’d be
if you took my arm
and walk with me
I’ll never let come unto you any harm
I’m willing to throw down and give it all up
If you’d take my hand and be my wife
