How the Afghan war took place. The strategy used by the US to crush Taliban.

GROUND TRUTHS

© 2010 Dr.P.Elayaraja

The terrorists were welcomed

With the carpet bombs,

To cope with the winter

The blanket bombs,

They needed rain,

So the clusters,

The wells were dug

By the bunker busters,

Capture and control

By the ground troops,

..

Consolation and cries

Are the ground truths.

    India juggles ahead
    Pakistan nibbles our head
Oil and war-nosed, US is ahead
Inflicting misery, US is without a head
    Others’ prosperity, US is green-eyed
Self-advancement, US is a thick hide.

Yes, remind us that war is cruel; Isn’t it a fact that to combat evil (any mindset that deems itself worthy to control the lives of others who wish to proceed with their own dreams), one must use evil means most persuasively, and once in control set up an environment so that the evil ones can exist safely and the innocent ones who wish to get on with their right to freedom are enabled to do so. Yes, to protect the peace…one must be a magnificent warrior!
