Poem about, stages of my ages when I grew up
and on some of the things that I have learned
while I grew up.
When I really began to see I was age one, boy was i young
I was out their having so much fun fiddling with my play gun
Of course then my food always had to be well done
And there wasn’t nothing i could say, like i didn’t have none
As i reached the age of two, i loved playing the game, peek-a-boo
Yet, I knew there was more i had to do
Then i turned age three, a lot out their for me to see
When i looked in the mirror, i knew it was me
But i oftened wondered when i grow up, what will i be
Next came age four, a lot out their for me to tour
I knew how to get on any floor, also open any door
But i then started to want more
As i reached five, I could dive
I sure Thank God then for letting me be, Alive
Then came age six, the time to go too school and to mix
I sure learned a lot of things on, how to fix
Here came the number seven when I started to believe in Heaven
I also have a first cousin, when she was age, Seven, I was age, Eleven
We used to go around saying, Oh-Thank Heaven for Seven-Eleven
Time kept going on for me after and after again
I will keep growing as each day passes and passes, until when
I will have some rough times and I will have some nice times
For right now, I’ll be making lot’s of rhymes and
will be hoping, they’ll make it in our times.
