This is about a stuffed animal being forgotten and left on a shelf with dust. When you start to grow up, you grow from your old toys/stuffed animals. What if they had feelings and thoughts?

I have slipped one’s mind

For many years.

Little do you recall

Our remarkable past.

In the darkest, moonless nights

When you felt shivery,

You cradled me in your arms

And never let go.

You took me with you

In your graceful, ravishing wings

As we took off

To the outdoor world.

Even if you’re careless now

And don’t love me anymore,

My affection for you will remain

Through hatred and pain.

Because you brought me

To this place called home,

And in my heart lays

Splendid memories.
