A poem.

Sword of steel;
Shield of gold;
Eyes lit with flames;
Soul full of anger.
Guardian, you stand
At the door of this heart.
Vengeful and wretched –
Loyal, though you are.
Ruthless and cunning –
Strong and enduring.
You’ve built the walls,
And you’ve dug the moat,
And you’ve slain the wicked
I once called good.
Guardian, for all your good intent,
I am bitter because of you.
